Delete your HiringNXT account
Delete your account yourself in the HiringNXT app or on the website, or ask us to do it for you. This page explains how, when it happens, and exactly what is deleted and what we keep.
1Delete it yourself
In the app:
- Open the HiringNXT app and tap More.
- Tap Settings, then Account.
- Under Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
On the website, sign in, open Settings, then Profile, and choose Delete my account.
You are signed out everywhere at once, and we email you the date your account will be deleted: three days after you ask. Changed your mind? Sign in on this website before then and choose Keep my account.
If you also manage a company on HiringNXT, only your job seeker data is deleted. Your login, the company and your roles in it stay.
2What is deleted
- Your profile and account details, including your skills, projects and portfolio
- Your resumes, your profile photo and every file you uploaded
- Your mock interviews, with their recordings, transcripts and reports, including any report links you shared
- Your career plans and job matches, and the text of your AI requests
- Any AI credits you have left
- Your Google, Apple and LinkedIn sign-in links, and every device you are signed in on
- Your notifications, and the messages you sent to recruiters
- Your membership of any institution, which keeps only an anonymous count
3What we keep, and why
- Job applications you already sent: each employer you applied to keeps its own record of what you sent them: your name, contact details, the experience, notice period and salary details shown with the application, and your resume as you submitted it. They keep it for up to 12 months, and then we anonymize it. Nothing else of yours is added to it.
- Payment records: tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. We keep them without your name or contact details.
- Usage records: we keep the AI credit ledger and a record of each AI request for accounting, without your name, and with the text of each request removed.
- Referral records: so the person who referred you, or whom you referred, keeps the credit they earned.
- A one-way fingerprint of your email address: so that a new account with the same address does not receive the free signup credits again. It cannot be turned back into your address.
None of these can be used to sign in, and you can sign up again with the same email address. Copies in our backups are removed as the backups expire.
4How long it takes
When you delete it yourself, your account is deleted three days after you ask. A request sent to us is completed within 30 days of you confirming it; we aim to do it within 7.
5Ask us to delete it
No app, or cannot sign in? Send this form. We reply to the email address on your account to confirm the request comes from you, then delete the account.
